"I like using it overall, but..."
I like using it overall, but the channels can get messy really fast. Sometimes I’m trying to find something and it takes way longer than it should. It also gets confusing when an email says one thing, but then the channel or message thread seems to say something different, so I’m not always sure what’s actually up to date...

"Good app, but the free version feels limited"
I like the app overall, it works well and is easy to use, but the free plan runs out quickly sometimes, which can be a bit frustrating.

"Discord is always rough for accessibility and translations"
I use Discord pretty much every day, but it gets frustrating fast. The screen reader support feels broken all over the place, and there are buttons that just make no sense or aren’t labeled clearly. The translation in my language is also either weird or just missing, so even simple settings can turn into a guessing game. It feels like they never test this stuff with actual people who rely on it.
"Love the custom emojis, wish I used them sooner"
The custom emojis and stickers make chats so much more fun. My friends use them all day, and now I kind of regret not getting into them earlier. i don’t really have any complaints.

"Nitro just doesn’t feel worth it anymore"
I used to think Nitro was a decent little upgrade, but at this point it just feels overpriced for what you actually get. Most of the perks are so minor that it feels like I’m paying a monthly fee for emojis and a couple small extras. Give me a break

"I use Discord all the time, so when…"
I use Discord all the time, so when I got locked out of my account I felt pressured to get it fixed fast. Support did get back to me, but it took a few days, and the first response felt a bit like a copy-and-paste message. They eventually helped me get back into my account, so I wouldn’t call it a terrible experience. I just wish the whole thing had been faster and clearer, especially when you’re already stressed and really need help...

"Bots are helpful, but honestly kind of a headache"
discord is solid for just hanging out and chatting, and when everything is working, the bots can be genuinely useful. But it also feels like every time I start thinking, “Okay, this is actually convenient,” something weird happens and I’m back to troubleshooting.
Some bots will randomly stop doing what they’re supposed to do, permissions can be way more confusing than they need to be, and every server seems to have its own setup quirks. I’ve had to dig through guides just to get basic stuff like auto roles or alerts working, which gets old fast.
So yeah, I like discord overall, and I get why people rely on bots, but the whole automation side gives me mixed feelings. It’s useful enough that I keep trying, but messy and buggy enough that I usually end up annoyed

"Pretty good for events, but stage is kinda clunky"
I’ve used it for a few events and overall it works fine, no big issues there. The only thing is the stage channels can be a little confusing for people who aren’t used to them, so we had to explain it a few times. Not a dealbreaker, just kinda clunky sometimes.

"Still customizable, but not as smooth as it used to be"
discord still gives you a lot of room to make a server feel like your own. I like being able to set up roles, channels, icons, and permissions the way I want, and that part is still useful.
That said, it feels messier than it used to be. Some of the settings, especially permissions, are buried in weird places, and one tiny change can suddenly mess with who can see or do what. Then you end up spending way too much time trying to figure out what broke.
Overall, it still works and the customization is good, but it used to feel a lot easier to manage. I wish discord would clean things up a bit and make it simpler for regular users who just want to run a server without digging through endless settings.

"Theme and profile options feel kind of limited"
I’ve been a little frustrated with Discord lately, to be honest. The theme options still feel basic unless you’re paying, and it seems like a lot of the profile personalization is tucked behind Nitro. I get that paid features are a thing, but I wish there were at least a few more simple ways to make my account feel like mine without a monthly subscription. Even basic color choices or slightly better banner options would probably make a difference. Right now, it just feels a bit too restricted

"Gaming integrations are a mess lately"
Discord used to work well for gaming, but lately the integrations have been all over the place. My Xbox status doesn’t update, the game activity shows the wrong stuff, and linking accounts keeps glitching out. Annoying. I’ve tried reconnecting everything a few times, but it still ends up breaking. Frustrating. This is supposed to be the easy part.

"Not a great first impression with the notifications"
The notifications gave me a bad first impression. They felt annoying right away, and while the controls do help a bit, I still end up missing some alerts that actually matter. It’s not unusable, but it definitely needs some smoothing out...

"Kinda messy, but still good for finding groups"
Bottom line, I did end up finding some cool servers and groups to join. Getting there was a little frustrating though, because the search can feel random at times. It works, just not always in the smoothest way.

"Discord has been easy for…"
Discord has been easy for me to use after spending a little time with it, and I can see why so many communities rely on it. It does a good job of bringing people together, which is really the main point. That said, some settings and server options can be a pain to find, and the navigation can feel a bit crowded, especially on mobile. Overall, it works well, but it takes some patience before it feels simple.

"I use discord screen share often, and..."
I use discord screen share often, and most of the time it’s fine, but every now and then it gets blurry or the audio just doesn’t come through for some reason. Could be on my end maybe, not totally sure, but it’s a little annoying when it happens. Not a huge deal, I just wish it felt a bit more consistent.

"I mostly use discord just to..."
I mostly use discord just to text friends, and I mean, it works most of the time, but lately it’s been kind of frustrating. Sometimes messages take forever to send, or they show up in a weird order, which makes conversations feel a little off. Search is another thing… I’ll try to find some old message or link and end up digging around way longer than I should. The app also feels cluttered now, with popups and random changes popping up when I’m just trying to chat. It’s still usable, obviously, and I’ll keep using it, but for something that’s supposed to be simple messaging, it can get surprisingly annoying.

"Great for me, but the privacy stuff could be clearer"
I use Discord a lot and for the most part it works fine for what I need. I like being able to chat and keep up with my servers, but the privacy settings still feel kind of confusing to me. I’ve also gotten random messages from people I don’t know, which gets annoying when I’m just trying to use the app normally. The security seems decent, especially with 2FA, but I really wish the controls were easier to understand so I could feel more in control of my own account.

"Mobile Still Feels Behind Desktop"
I use Discord on both my PC and phone, the difference between the two can be frustrating. Weird. On desktop, I can usually find settings quickly, but on mobile they’re either buried somewhere or just not there, and managing servers feels way more awkward than it should.
Calls and messages work fine for the most part, so it’s not like the app is unusable. Still. The feature gap is noticeable, and I don’t love having to grab my laptop just to handle basic stuff. Discord works on mobile, but it definitely feels like the backup version.

"Syncing across devices is honestly frustrating"
I use discord on my phone, laptop, and desktop, and the syncing gets annoying. I’ll read messages on one device, then another one still acts like they’re unread, or I’ll get notifications way late, if they show up at all.
It’s fine for basic chatting, but moving between devices feels messy in a way it really shouldn’t for an app this big. Voice settings and status don’t always update right either, and sometimes it feels like they’re more focused on pushing Nitro and other paid stuff than fixing the everyday issues people actually deal with.

"Discord webhooks have been handy for what I..."
Discord webhooks have been handy for what I need, and they’re mostly straightforward to set up. The docs can be a little confusing here and there, and the rate limits surprised me a couple times, but overall it does the job well enough.
